CUSTOMER SERVICE & COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
The Stanton County Public Power District (SCPPD) is seeking to fill a position in customer service with a focus on communications and marketing. This role is ideal for a service-oriented, creative, and driven individual who excels at producing engaging, high-quality content to support our mission to provide safe, reliable, and affordable electricity. This is a full-time, permanent position that comes with a comprehensive benefits package.
Essential job duties include delivering high quality customer service, customer education and account management. Designing, writing, and creating both print and digital communications, newsletters, flyers, press releases, website content; planning and organizing demonstrations, promotions, youth programs, educational programs, and other public events.
Required: High School diploma and a minimum of one to two years post-secondary education OR one to two years general office experience with proficiency in Microsoft computer applications. Valid Nebraska driver’s license.
Preferred: AA Degree in graphic design, communications, journalism, marketing, advertising, or related field is highly preferred. Proficient skills in creative design/desktop publishing software. Knowledge of digital and social media communications in a professional setting.
